From Bali : visit Ijen Plateau and Ijen crater lake - 3 days / 2 nights

ITINERARY

Day 01. Bali - Gilimanuk ferry to Java  - Ijen area
Our driver ready to serve you and You will be picked up at your hotel anywhere in Bali. It is approximately a four or five hour drive to Gilimanuk ferry port to Java, you can have lunch at a restaurant on the way. Arrival at Ketapang ferry port Java - it is another 3 hours to the village Licin (Ijen area), we will have a break by visiting Taman gandrung teracota,is an park, which has hundreds of statues of Gandrung dancers, and it was built on a terraced rice field at the foot of Mount Ijen, and visit the water falls. At the Ijen Plateau you might have time to explore the surroundings enjoy more. We will spend the night in a hotel with a rice field views.

Day 02. Explore the Ijen area - Kaliklatak plantation 
After breakfast , It is an relaxing day, you can decide what time you will start explore Kaliklatak plantation, See a closer look what the coffee cocoa, rubber clove and others spices trees looks like and traditional Sulphur processing in Licin village, Visit some locals house in the villages of sulphur miner in Ijen. It is nice to get to know them in reality. Note : there is no exact time processing in the factory ( plantation / sulphur ) it is depend on raw material and weather.

Day 03. Ijen trekking – Back to Bali 
Having coffee of tea before depart to Paltuding (trekking point) at 03.00. It takes about 2 hours to reach Paltuding where your local guide is waiting for you with gas masks. Arrival at the Ijen trekking point and start trekking to top of Mt Ijen. It is at least one hour hiking to the lake.
On the edge of Ijen crater lake you can enjoy a colorful panorama. At the same time many sulphur miners are at work. It is a heavy duty to carry loads of around 80 kilograms up the rim and then down the slopes of Mt. Ijen.
After you experienced Ijen crater lake, there is still time to visit the sulphur factory (if they are open) where sulphur is purified and packed in Licin village. On your way to the harbor you can also visit Taman Gandrung teracota,is an park, which has hundreds of statues of Gandrung dancers, and it was built on a terraced rice field at the foot of Mount Ijen. Then we drop you in Ketapang where you can take the ferry to Bali. Ferry takes you about an hour to cross Bali straits, continue bring back you hotel in Bali .Tour End.
