Mt. Bromo, Ijen and Sukamade - 4 days  3 nights
Turtles in the hardly visited Meru Betiri National Park is something else compared to the famous Mt. Bromo and the magnificent Ijen crater lake.

ITINERARY

Day 01. Surabaya (airport/hotel) – Cemara Lawang
You will be picked up at your hotel or at Juanda International Airport Surabaya. In approximately three hours you will reach water falls Madakaripura , a great place to refresh and touch the nature, be ready to get wet !!! .if we still have time, do soft trekking visit local life and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. 

Overnight at : The Joglo kecombrang or Bawangan - Bromo

Day 02. Mount Bromo sunrise tour By Jeep – Bondowoso (the nearest city to ijen)
You will have to wake up early morning as the sun is an early bird too. 03.00 o'clock in the morning is an outstanding moment to have a cup of coffee or tea. Then you will depart for a 40 minutes drive to Mt. Pananjakan. Mt. Pananjakan is the highest viewpoint in the area to see the sunrise. Weather conditions determine the sea of color that you are going to see. Once the sun warmed you up - as it is cold at the top, between 0 and 10 ºC - you will meet your driver again.
It is time to visit the eye-catching volcano itself, Mt. Bromo. You will cross the Sea of Sand (please stop if you wish). The last part to the crater, you will have to walk. It will take about 45 minutes to get to Bromo's crater rim. Take a look in its mouth, enjoy the surroundings and inhale the morning freshness. Take your time.
Once back at your Jeep, you will return to your hotel to have breakfast and check out. Then you continue by private car via a winding road that leads you over the hill Ara-Arak to either Bondowoso. Have your lunch (not included) at a spot with some beautiful views.

Overnight : River side or Grand Paddys ( Swimming pool) - Bondowoso

Day 03. Ijen trekking – Journey To Sukamade beach
Having coffee of tea before depart to Paltuding (trekking point) at 03.00. It takes about 2 hours to reach Paltuding where your local guide is waiting for you with gas masks. Arrival at the Ijen trekking point and start trekking to top of Mt Ijen. It is at least one hour hiking to the lake.
On the edge of Ijen crater lake you can enjoy a colorful panorama. At the same time many sulphur miners are at work. It is a heavy duty to carry loads of around 80 kilograms up the rim and then down the slopes of Mt. Ijen.
After you experienced Ijen crater lake, there is still time to visit the sulphur factory (if they are open) where sulphur is purified and packed in Licin village. On your way to the harbor you can also visit Taman Gandrung teracota,is an park, which has hundreds of statues of Gandrung dancers, and it was built on a terraced rice field at the foot of Mount Ijen.  
After you enjoyed Ijen, you will drive via Pesanggaran village (switch cars) to the protected Sukamade turtle beach in Meru Betiri National Park. Sukamade is an unspoiled three kilometers of white sandy beaches on the Indian Ocean. While driving, you will pass the extensive and famous plantations of East Java and the mountain range of the Meru Betiri National Park. You still have time to visit the village near Sukamade beach, and witness locals making brown sugar.
In the evening you will be guided by a ranger to find sea turtles that come ashore to lay their eggs. A female turtle lays more than one hundred eggs. She usually comes ashore around 19.30 and returns to the sea around midnight. Although the turtles come ashore almost every night, there is always the possibility that they don't. The chance to see the turtles is about 85%.

From Ijen It takes 4-5 hours to sukamade and last part on bumpy roads and crossing rivers to finally reach our destination, Sukamade Beach.Sukamade beach is about 97 km to southwest of Banyuwangi. It is a natural, quiet, beautiful place and part of the 50,000 hectare Meru Betiri National Park.You will spend the night in a basic guest house in Meru Betiri National Park. This is the only accommodation available in the park. No Electricity after 20.00.

Day 04. Sukamade Beach – Ketapang (ferry port to Bali)
After breakfast you can further explore the surroundings of Sukamade. When lucky, some turtle eggs have hatched and you can release baby turtles into the sea.Then, you will be heading to the harbor in Ketapang, where you can take the ferry to Bali. En route, you can stop at a local restaurant for lunch (not included).your tour will be end in Ketapang ( ferry port to Bali ) your driver will arrange your ferry ticket for you. Tour End.
