ITINERARY
Day 01. Yogya by train to Probolinggo – Mount Bromo tour By Jeep – Bondowoso
From Yogyakarta you will take Wijaya Kusuma executive train depart at 18.40 and arrive in Probolinggo at 01.47. You will be picked up at Probolinggo train station. In approximately 1.45 minutes you will reach The nearest village to Mt Bromo ,
Then you continue by a Jeep for another 40 minutes drive to Mt. Pananjakan. Mt. Pananjakan is the highest viewpoint in the area to see the Bromo landscape. Weather conditions determine the sea of color that you are going to see. Enjoy the Great vulcano panorama. you will meet your driver again.
It is time to visit the eye-catching volcano itself, Mt. Bromo. You will cross the Sea of Sand (please stop if you wish). The last part to the crater, you will have to walk. It will take about 45 minutes to get to Bromo's crater rim. Take a look in its mouth, enjoy the surroundings and inhale the morning freshness. Take your time.
Once back at your Jeep, you will return to Cemara lawang village to have breakfast and Relax. Then you continue by private car via a winding road that leads you over the hill Ara-Arak to either Bondowoso . Have your lunch (not included) at a spot with some beautiful views. Arrival at your hotel in Bonsowoso.

Day 02. Ijen trekking – Ketapang ferry port to Bali
Having coffee of tea before depart to Paltuding (trekking point) at 03.00. It takes about 2 hours to reach Paltuding where your local guide is waiting for you with gas masks. Arrival at the Ijen trekking point and start trekking to top of Mt Ijen. It is at least one hour hiking to the lake.
On the edge of Ijen crater lake you can enjoy a colorful panorama. At the same time many sulphur miners are at work. It is a heavy duty to carry loads of around 80 kilograms up the rim and then down the slopes of Mt. Ijen.
After you experienced Ijen crater lake, there is still time to visit the sulphur factory (if they are open) where sulphur is purified and packed in Licin village. On your way to the harbor you can also visit Taman Gandrung teracota,is an park, which has hundreds of statues of Gandrung dancers, and it was built on a terraced rice field at the foot of Mount Ijen. Then we drop you at the harbour in Ketapang, where you can catch the ferry to Bali. Our crew in Bali will drop you somewhere in Bali, Tour end .
Estimated time of arrival in Ketapang ( ferry port Java ): around 12.00 noon
Estimated time of arrival in Gilimanuk (ferry port Bali) around 14.00, please note that Bali time is one hour ahead of Java time. Just an idea Gilimanuk - Denpasar takes around 4-5 hours drive - depend on traffic condition.
